About

My name is Angel King and I'm a graphic designer with a passion for creating immersive and compelling visual experiences.

I am introverted by nature, but this helped me bring out my hidden strengths of creativity and imagination, which allowed me to communicate powerfully through my work by diving into 3D rendering, game interface design, writing, and photography. My approach to design is detail-oriented and I always strive to create work that is not only aesthetically appealing but also emotionally resonant.

I look forward to sharing my passion and creativity with you and creating designs that will leave a lasting impact.

Graphic Design Intern

Artency is a design studio my colleague and I created. I focused on branding and website design and organized the back end of our workflow progress, such as leveraging Trello and Calendly that aligned with business objectives and client needs, improving overall productivity.

While this was my first time experiencing entrepreneurship, I did everything from the initial company setup to social media branding, project management, strategy, client communication, and everything in between.

Pacific Smoke International

Yorkville Partners

December 2023 - September 2024

November 2020 - June 2023

In this role, I have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, which included layout, typography, and both digital and print design materials.

My focus was consistently aimed at maintaining a consistent brand identity and voice of the company to ensure communication materials translate to our audience with proper clarity. Furthermore, I played a crucial role in designing an award-winning trade show booth that showcased our brand's unique offerings and strengths.

May 2018-February 2020

At Pacific Smoke International, I had a dual role. I have developed and managed eNewsletters and marketing materials, applying graphic design expertise to enhance product launches and sales efforts, while also producing diverse marketing materials including logos, sell sheets, social media imagery, and business cards.

January 2017 - June 2017

I have interned at Yorkville Partners as a graphic design student. There, they had a variety of products to be sold on their e-commerce websites, to which I can utilize not just my layout and branding skillsets, but also my photography and photo-editing skills as well.

Altogether, I have planned from start to finish to strategically display their various products on their web storefronts, social media, labelling and packaging design.
